Jeremiah 31:26-27 (The Message)
26Just then I woke up and looked around?what a pleasant and satisfying sleep!
27-28"Be ready. The time's coming"?God's Decree?"when I will plant people and animals in Israel and Judah, just as a farmer plants seed. And in the same way that earlier I relentlessly pulled up and tore down, took apart and demolished, so now I am sticking with them as they start over, building and planting. (Msg)
26Thereupon I [Jeremiah] awoke and looked, and my [trancelike] sleep was sweet [in the assurance it gave] to me.
27Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed (offspring) of man and of beast. (Amp)

Wow, He showed me this verses today. Like Jeremiah, I also woke up from a sweet sleep to a trancelike day. Strong Wind is howling away...I begin to reflect on what deeper revelation He is revealing to me. It is so amazing to sit under His presence.

Fathers' Day
Having the sweet memories of my dad floating around. A good provider, a stable, authority figure in the house when we were growing up. He never give up attitude, to do the best he can for his family.

He was very diligent man always looking for work that gave him better monetary rewards so that mom didn't have to work and able to look after us at home. He always managed to find time to upgrade himself.

At one stage, he had went for job that required him to be overseas a lot. It was hard for dad & mom to be separated for months before he could make a trip home. As he was hardly there due to work, the need to bring in the bacon to feed the growing family. We were so poor that we were happy to have food on the table & in the fridge. Slowly, our situation got better... from rented unit to our first unit home.

Thanks you for your never give up spirit, Dad! We still miss you!
